Flashcards from your own material

The AI flashcard generator turns notes, a textbook passage or a list of words into flashcards. Every card checks one idea: a short question or term on the front, a short answer on the back. You can study the cards right on the page, print them or export them to Anki and Quizlet.

How to make flashcards

  1. Paste the text or press Photo to take it from a picture of the page. You can also type just a topic.
  2. Choose the type of cards and how many you need.
  3. Press Make flashcards.

How to study with the cards

  • Open Study the cards, recall the answer and flip the card.
  • Rate how well you knew it from 1 to 5: hard cards come back sooner, easy ones are put aside.
  • Your progress is kept in the browser, so you can come back later.
  • Test yourself turns the cards into a multiple choice quiz.

Print and export

  • Print cards puts eight cards on an A4 sheet with the answers on the back for double-sided printing.
  • Download for Anki saves a file you can import into Anki.
  • Copy for Quizlet copies the cards for Quizlet import.
