Punctuation Checker Update: More Accurate Commas

2026-10-04 06:34:22

Our punctuation checker has received an update. We connected a large language model that runs on our own servers and refined how your text is processed.

What has changed:

  • Commas in complex sentences. Commas before conjunctions, after introductory clauses and phrases, and around names when you address someone are placed more accurately.
  • Your words stay yours. Only punctuation changes: your words, spelling and word order stay exactly as you wrote them. Quotes, abbreviations and number ranges are kept.
  • Text without capitals. Messages typed in lowercase without any punctuation are split into sentences more reliably.
  • Poems and line breaks. Lines of verse and sentences that continue on the next line no longer get extra periods.
  • All languages. English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Russian all benefit from the update.

The check is as fast as before. Try it with your text.
